A performer with over 20 years of experience in theater and television, India Browne has captivated audiences nationally and internationally. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Fordham University and The Ailey School, she launched her professional dance career in New York City. India has showcased her talents across various dance styles and venues, including her notable role as a cast member in the acclaimed Broadway show The Lion King and her previous position as a lead dancer for The Brooklyn Nets Basketball team of The National Basketball League.
In early 2024, India retired from her performing career, marking the end of an era that saw her bring grace and energy to stages worldwide. Based in Brooklyn, she continues to explore the vibrant city she loves with her husband, Dale, and their three children.
In her new chapter, India has launched and hosted a YouTube channel, Two Loves and a Like, and a podcast, Social Q’s, where she delves into meaningful conversations about relationships, mental health, motherhood, and professional and personal growth. Alongside her husband, India is dedicated to normalizing therapy within couples, particularly in the African-American community. The couple became one of four pairs featured in Showtime’s docuseries Couple’s Therapy, which chronicled their journey through marriage counseling. Their ongoing mission is to use their experiences to inspire and support others globally, highlighting the importance of mental health and healing in relationships.
